House for program and kiosk

Sometimes it's too hot at the campsite oder it's raining very hard - tents are not very comfortable then. In our house for program and kiosk we have a large 30sqm room which is heated by a wood-burning oven. This room can be used for small meetings, planning sessions or just for a get-together.

Additionally we have an internet-computer with printer during the International Camp which our guests can use for free. At the other side of the house we set up a well equipped kiosk. By the way: The major part of our food is bought from local companies!

Furthermore, between the program room and the kiosk there is a roofed space for around 25 persons.

Pavilion for barbecue

The large pavilion for barbecue offers space for around 30 persons. Here you can put up a firebowl or a barbecue. The pavilion can be used in many ways: For a round besides the campfire, for meetings or a meal.

Because it's roofed and paved, you can easily use the pavilion even when it's raining. It's made like a jurt, you can also cover the open sides...

Shelters

Two simple shelters offer space for up to 15 persons who want to spent a night without a tent. Well suited for groups who want to be closer to nature for a night - or who want to leave early in the morning without loosing time for demounting their tents.

Kitchen sinks

At the outside of the girls' sanitary facility you can find six large kitchen sinks for washing up your dishes, pans, pots, plates...

Fridges

On the back side of the house of program and kiosk we have 6 lockable, large fridges for the groups. The fridges will be allocated according to the number of groups and people on the site, so please make sure that you don't buy too much food because of probably limited space - we have shopping facilities around, and you can also buy food in our kiosk. The use of the fridges is for free.

Storage for construction pole wood

Of course you don't have to carry your construction pole wood to the Bucher Berg - we have enough for you!

Wood-fired stone oven

During the time of the International Camp you can bake bread, rolls and even pizza in our original stone-oven. Of course you have to preheat the oven with a log fire, supported by our competent staff. The millstone beside it can be used to mill your flour, if you want to produce your pizza in a really traditional and rustic way.

Observation tower

THE landmark of the Bucher Berg! Our new rebuilded observation tower is completely made of wood and has big flagpole on it's top. It's a common meeting place, from where you can take a great look around the campsite. At the flagpole, the groups which are present at our site can hoist their flags.

Fireplaces

At our site you can find several fixed fireplaces which can be used by everyone. Please don't make open fire on the grass! We have transportable firebowls which you can use in the pavilion or directly in your tent (if it's suitable for that!)

Kitchen and Sanitary House (new since 2015)
